Who we are

This cooperative was established with the intention of creating a poly-functional company model, capable of adding value to the quality of products, which are produced with sustainable farming practices, rightly managing environmental resources and with the highest consideration of the landscape aspects of the territory.

The project intends to create a biological farm model committed to the production of fruits and vegetables with organic methods. To this purpose, the organic certification procedure for the cooperative lands has been activated. These lands will be cultivated with low-impact agronomical methods.

 Activities

The cooperative produces fruits and vegetables (cherries, apricots, grapes, blackberries, raspberries, currants, gooseberries, blueberries, kiwis, asparaguses, strawberries and melons), trying to give value to the local landscape characteristics in order to create the best possible conditions to host harvesting clients.

Indeed, anyone interested in the cultivated products can directly visit the farm and the fields, while getting to know the farmers and harvesting fruits and vegetables by themselves with a self-service method.

Products will also be commercialised with the “Castel Cerreto” brand mark.

Castel Cerreto is also a place of socialisation and entertainment in a natural environment, as well as a place where to share and discuss more sustainable, ambitious, modern and innovative ideas, projects and behaviours.
