Who we are

This project is promoted by local authorities, private actors in the social field and various associations: Associazione Progetto Insieme (leading association), Comune di Lodi, Parich charities like the Caritas Lodigiana, Coop. Soc. Famiglia Nuova, Coop. Soc. Microcosmi, Provincia di Lodi and Piani di Zona dei Distretti di Lodi, Casalpusterlengo and S.Angelo Lodigiano.

Activities

Collection and selection of food goods donated by different agricultural businesses, wholesalers and local stores. Manufacturing of bags for the direct distribution to families and communities. Donation of long life food to local structures (Caritas and others) for widespread local distribution in the Lodi area. The association also works in the educational and cultural field: it involves volunteer associations to find new volunteers, it provides community recreational moments, creates awareness raising campaigns on new behaviours in schools, sets up food colletions and organises cultural meetings and seminars on food waste, low-impact behaviours and solidarity. All of this, working closely with Ethical Purchase Groups (G.A.S.) and Common Purchase Groups (G.A.P.) with whom the association shares the logistics.
