Who we are

Le Cinque Pertiche is a type B cooperative that deals with the socio-occupational reintegration of socially disadvantaged people within welcoming associations and companies that are up to the needs of both the consumers and the territory.

The main activities are the following two: organic farming and commercialisation of its products, a home mail delivery service for both private and public authorities and organisations.

In 2014, after a specific training course, the farm was certified as an educational farm, which led to the creation and managing of new spaces to welcome families and school groups.

 Activities

Le Cinque Pertiche grows organic vegetables from its vegetable gardens. The production of jams and ready-to-eat vegetables side-dishes increased in the last few years and drying techniques are being experimented on some products and herbs.

The cultivated products are commercialised via three main channels: markets, Ethical Purchasing Groups (G.A.S. in the Italian acronym) and directly on field. Consumers are well aware of, and ready to appreciate, the product extra social value and ethics, as well as its quality.

Catering services have also been occasionally provided.
